Baked Acorn Squash

Ingredients

Acorn squashes (split in half)
Water
2 tablespoons
Brown sugar
6 tablespoons
Butter
Salt & pepper to taste
Step by Step Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place each squash half flesh-side down in a baking dish.
- Add 1/2 inch of water to the baking dish, then bake the squash for 1 hour.
- Scoop the squash flesh out into a bowl and mash it with the brown sugar, butter, salt, and pepper until well combined, then serve topped with additional butter.
