Kale Chips

From Northeast Georgia Locally Grown

As part of a CSA a membership we were getting huge bunches of kale weekly. Needing a way to use kale, we were told about kale chips. We have come to love these “chips”- I venture to say they are as addicting, and much healthier than popcorn! Even my two year old loves them!

Serves: 2-4
Vegan!

Ingredients
1 Bunch Kale (I Like Mixed Types of Curly Leaved))
1.5-2 TBLSP Favorite Oil - Olive, Grapeseed, etc.
To Taste Salt and/or Pepper
Splash Vinegar (Optional)

Step by Step Instructions
 1. Wash and remove stems from kale. Allow kale to air dry or gently pat dry. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 325-350.
 2. In a large bowl add kale and mix with oil, seasoning and a splash of vinegar if desired. Mix until well coated.
 3. Spread out on baking sheets - line with parchment paper if you like. Bake until chips are crisp throughout. Anywhere from 15-30 minutes. I sometimes turn with tongs halfway through baking.
